The
songs on Good Morning My Love are ordered more or less chronologically according to a baby’s
development and are meant to assist in connecting with your baby at each
stage. The very new parent might find the songs about routine to be
helpful (e.g. Good Morning, Sleep, Bathtime,) while the more experienced
parent might find the songs about older babies helpful (Don’t Leave,
Dolly.) In all cases, the songs highlight the emotions both of the baby
(Sunday, Don’t Leave) and of the parent (One Day, At 63) during the
first years together. Other songs are meant to encourage a joyful
interaction with your baby: making silly faces, using hand movements, or
singing with your baby's first sounds. Good Morning My Love was produced by Jon Samson, a fellow music therapist, extremely talented musician, creator of CoCreativeMusic,
and friend. The musicians who collaborated on the album are all highly
talented and the instrumentation includes marimba, trumpet, tuba, and
ukelele. | ![]() |
